| I just bought a 2010 172 that is in very good condition. Bought it from a friend who takes very good care of all of his toys and equipment, much to my good luck. I am in the process of inspecting it, going over it, learning how all of the equipment works, etc.. Can someone out there tell me where the converter is located? I think I have just about checked everything out, but I don't know where the converter is located. Any advice will be greatly appreciated... |

The converter is below the fridge behind the fuse panel.

You will need to remove the door/front housing from the power distribution center, (2 screws), your converter/charger is located in the bottom half of the center.. Here is a picture, but this is not the same converter you will have. Mine has been upgraded. But the WFCO one is similar looking.. ------------- |
