Just got my new toy, Honda eu2000 generator. I noticed that when it's on the eco setting, the idle is a bit rough. Normal? ------------- Larry and Debbie w/Rosie the mutt. Old: '13 177, '06 Silverado V6 New: '15 Whitehawk 20MRB '14 Silverado V8 |

I notice our Champion has an odd little idle when the eco switch is on also. It has a gentle, almost unnoticeable up and down idle. I guess you could call it a rough idle. You have to listen carefully to catch it, barely noticeable. I'm just guessing that it's something to do with the eco mode. In reality the only time it idles is when it's warming up. Other wise it's working at least a little bit to charge the batteries...... 50-100 watts So I almost never notice it. ------------- Bruce & Donna in the Sno Pod (and Brewer too) 2011 RP 177 |
