| ...that the swing-out handle next to the door can be flipped all the way over and prevent the door from being opened from the inside? At least it does on our 2010 172. |

If you really put some force behind it you can push the door open even with the bar over the door. | Good to know that you can't get locked in! I guess the handle was designed to be installed on either side of a door depending on which side the hinges are on...pretty smart actually. |
