Hi All

I'm struggling to find an R Dome for my 176 which I am picking up tomorrow. No dealers have them in stock that I can find. They also seem to be priced expensive compared to other dome style awning/cabanas that you find on Ebay etc.

Does anybody know if any of the Dometic Cabana's work for a 176 or if there is another manufacturer out there that makes something similar that will work with a 176?

We also own a RPOD 176 and bought the R Dome from the dealer. It is made by Dometic. We love it! It extends the living space and is a great place to store things that you do not want to get wet, etc. It was pricey but we felt worth it. Very easy to install (did it with 2 people) in about 10 minutes the first time. From what I have read, the newest ones are a big improvement over the older versions. You do need to watch the edges of the track when sliding it in and we plan on using a metal file to smooth those out so that they do not catch and tear the fabric.

We called Delightful Days RV in Walton,Ky.two days ago.They had at least one coming in with a load of r pods.Whether or not they have more than that I don't know.I've bought the one coming in.They are supposed to call me when it arrives.You might try them.

Check into the flea market section from time to time, I bought a dome for my 171 (same size as the 176) at half of dealer price from a guy who got one with his pod and didn't like it.
