Hi Newbie here so sorry for the question in advance but any help would be appreciated! We have a 2016 Rpod 176 the trailer manufacture is Lippert. I contacted them about what size wheel needed because an older thread mentioned that one owner tried several until he found one that fit after he called the manufacture of his (Domar) unfortunately they could not make a recommendation. Can I buy any 2" caster wheel with the appropriate load bearing requirements or is there something unique about the Rpod? Any suggestions and links to wheels purchased would be great. Thanks

I don't think that many people use them, I like the stability that no wheel provides. It helps to keep the POD form rolling around when it shouldn't. Anyway, contact the people at Etrailer. They will fix you up. You may have to drill a hole in the jack post, but I suspect they may already be one there. Good luck!

Poster's spot on. I bought one from etrailer a couple of years ago. Never used it. I suppose if you have a black topped or other smooth surface you may be able to maneuver the pod a bit. Don't forget your wheel chocks!!

I have one that I use on smooth concrete in the barn to hitch up, and I also use the wheel when camping. I found a yellow sturdy plastic "dish" at an RV store that the wheel sits in and it acts like an additional chock.

Our camper is on a concrete slab and we have used a caster wheel with our two campers the r-pod and Vibe. We have a Bal and very useful to allow our camper to be moved around on the slab very helpful when hitching camper to our tow vehicle.

And I might add -- be sure to take the caster wheel off of the post when underway - the ground clearance is a problem.
