Does anyone have an electric jack on their Pod? Can anyone recommend a good brand to go with, or ones to stay away from? What's a fair price to expect to pay for a decent model? We are considering getting one. Thanks, Lisa

Yes, very handy to have.....mine is the Barker VIP 3000 lb........but check your clearances, if you have a SUV with rear hatch door, you may or may not be able to open it while attached to the Pod.
Amazon now has the 3500 lb model cheaper than the the 3000 lb model.

Thank you for the answer and the link. Do you think I can install it, or should I go to a dealer? I know nothing about wiring, fuses, etc. but I can follow good directions to a T. How hard is it to install correctly and safely?
Thanks again.

I installed a heaver-duty model on my Salem. A very easy job. Hook it up to your TV, remove 3 bolts to remove the jack, put the new one in its place, torque down the 3 bolts. Then run the positive lead to the battery.

E-Trailer.com has one for $139.00 that plugs into your truck plug. This would work great when the trailer battery is dead. You just plug jack into your truck, raise, connect to trailer, unplug jack and plug trailer cable to truck. No wiring.

That's great! How did you attach the adapter to the jack and what is the voltage on the drill? I like KISS approach.

I went to their website, and I can't find the one you are talking about. Can you give me a part number or the exact name? Thanks!!

That's very clever! How do you get the crank handle off? Once you remove it to use the drill, can the crank handle be reinstalled?

The reason you couldn't find it is because they no longer have a picture of it on the site.had to search twice myself to find it. Item no. Is UF38-944037. Check it out, I believe it's the only one without a picture. I'm considering getting one myself.
