We do,live in northern Vermont.we winterized and then park our pod and leave the fan lid cracked open a bit. I will then regularly brush of snow so ice doesn't build up. That's it. I always left the vent cracked slightly and one of the windows open slightly. The pods are tightly sealed otherwise. Temperature is a non-issue.
