My wife Judy and I just bought a used 2010 171 yesterday and towed it from PA to Sturbridge, MA in the pouring rain as our first towing experience. That was with a 2 door Jeep Wrangler. We keep the speed at 55 except on the big hills I dropped to 50 all with the cruise control. We've moved up from camping in tents. It was either a fiberglass trailer like a Casita or an R-Pod we were looking at used. This one appears to be in very good condition so we'll be exploring this site to learn more about mods, ect.

Thanks, I see you are in Lyndonville, VT. I lived in Island Pond back in the 80's....a great place to live.

Welcome.

With it being a 2010, first thing you should check (and change) is the tires. If original, they are 7+ years old. Not good. There is a 4 digit date code in a oval, on the tire. It gives the week and year of manufacture.

Thanks "Furpod" for the tip on the tires. They were replaced one year back so we're good there.
Leo & Melissa, I grew up in Worcester and also worked at Mardon Industries in Lyndonville for a while. Yes, it is a small world!!

Also with a 2010 make sure you have the running lights on the fenders and the "fin" on the top of the rear.  If not, they will be added for free under a recall.
