I have a 2010 RP-171 with the 9mm keder rails. I recently bought a newer r-dome for that works with the newer style 14mm keder rails since I can't find an older dome that works with the smaller keder.  I  bought new 14mm keder rails from Forest River (had them cut them in half in 8' lengths for shipping) but they do not have mountilg holes drilled in them.

I took a tape measure and measured the distance between the screw holes on the 9mm keder on the camper and they appear to be evenly spaced at 6".  I am guessing that if I make some kind of a jig and drill holes in the new 14mm channel at 6" intervals that they might line up.

I am kind of stumped on how to curve the keder channel.  Do I just start installing on the top flat section and bend it by hand for each hole?

Has anyone done this procedure, if so how did you do it?

You could call FR and ask them how they bend it.  Maybe a standard form/rollers/something for each pod.

I am thinking if you use the tool that electricians use to bend conduit.  That would probably work.  They can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes

That might work.
