Hello, the wait is finally over, we have our new R-pod 178!!  Thank you for accepting me in this group of friendly and informative folks.  This is our first pod and we are thrilled.  We're empty nesters now and have been camping for a long time.  We have 4 kids and started them out camping and they all love it still today.  Now the grandkids are just as excited.  We believe there's always room for one more.  It's an adventure for sure.  As soon as we get her all set up, we'll be going local and we can't wait!  We live near Cincinnati, Ohio and are retired.  I look forward to reading all the information and hopefully helping others when I can.

Picking up our empty nesters 177 next Monday. Have already gotten good info on the mod line. Looks like a lot of friendly folks on this site. Proving run will be at the Milan Bluegrass Festival in MI with daughter and grandkids August 7th.
More to follow!

Welcome! We are newbies too, and excited to hit the trail in our new 179, sharing adventures and ideas on this forum. We live on the coast in North Bend, Oregon, and already, at Sunset Bay yesterday, a prospective buyer, flyer in hand, approached us filled with all kinds of questions about our cool r pod. We are retired, and looking forward to learning about the ins and outs of travel trailing in an rpod, meeting, and communicating with other owners and travelers.

Yes! San Luis Obispo County!  I'm keeping my eyes open for any Pod gatherings in the West, there is an annual gathering in Oregon but it is full this year and didn't work with our schedule.  We are going to try to make it work next year, it looks like a beautiful area!

Thank you flipper2507, and welcome to you also.  A friend of ours purchased his Pod last month and absolutely loves it!  Soon as we saw one for ourselves, we were hooked.

We too are newbie 2015 RPOD 178 owners.
Purchased at RV Nation, Hamilton, Ohio in November of 2014.
They stored it for us over the winter.
Have used it twice this year (2015)
Still learning the ropes of being a RV Couple.
Have had alarm issue with the Dometic Refrigerator.
Last camp had the LP Gas alarm go off even though we had no LP on.
Currently getting a free LP / CO alarm replacement.
Will be trying the dielectric grease on the light/door contacts in the Dometic Refrigerator.
Had to repair the boards under the queen size bed.
Had large gaps in the boards and could see through to the storage bins underneath.
Looking into dimmers for the BRIGHT LED lights.

Still love the RPOD but they are not built like a house.

I understand you can purchase "warm white" led bulbs that aren't so glaring, we may give them a try. On Amazon I think.

Our alarm on our refrigerator keeps going off no matter what we do. Any ideas why it won't stop beeping.

I wonder if there is anyone that does not have this problem . The grease worked only for a short while .
I finally diconnected the bulb , no more beeping .
