Very few owners have a "middle vent".. I can tell you how to pull the filters from the air conditioner.. ;)

It's a 2011 pod and there is a fan vent in the ceiling and it's covered by a screen. I don't have  air. I would like to know how to take the screen that covers the fan off.

So you're talking about the vent fan in the bathroom?  I don't normally reply to questions I don't know the answer to, but I think the question needs to be clarified first.

If it is the bathroom vent fan, I'd like to know how to remove the screen too, to wash it.  I haven't tried too hard to figure it out, instead just falling back on brushing the screen gently while it's on high, to blow the dust out.

Why do you want to remove it?  I'm too lazy to go look before replying here, but I'm kind of afraid you have to take the whole fan out, which would involve peeling up (and redoing) the caulk on the roof.

If you want to wash the screen and no one has a better solution, you could open the cover all the way and hose it down from the top.  Everything would go into the shower drain...  A soft brush is easier, in my opinion.

In the first post I said the vent was in the middle
Of the pod not the bathroom one! LOL . The screen has a plip on the rim so it looks like you could pry it off. But I don't want to do that until I get some info

Well then, I don't know what you're talking about.  As Furpod said, I guess very few of us have a middle vent.

Ok.. if it has the little raised spot, like the FF in the bathroom, you just pry with your finger from there. It WILL feel odd. It WILL feel like you are going to break it. Then it WILL pop out.
