So I am getting ready to install the fantastic fan vent cover. Read on another post to take it off while in transit since it is only attached with cotter pins. I have camped many years in lots of campers with vent covers and never considered removing them for transit. Anybody have any experience or suggestions on this? ------------- Mary and Tucker (my sheltie) 2015 r-pod 178 (lilypod) 2013 Toyota Tacoma |

I don't have a cover and have NEVER heard of anybody taking off when towing. I can't see how they would sell any of them if that were the case. ------------- Cliff & Raelynn Ranger 4.0/178 (1/2 ton 5,800lb tow capacity) |
