Hi Podders: We have had MH & TT in the past. Got the bug again and will be getting an Lexus GX and searching for our Pod a 182G which we had a long time ago and liked it. We are both retired and want to take advantage of health which is pretty good for our age and start seeing some of our beautiful county, historical sites and Podders. We will, when we get the Pod and GX, travel with our Golden "Blossom" and active, for her age, 11yr old. We are sure we will take advantage of all the knowledge and experience contained in this site and its Podders. Any "heads up" or comments observation on the 2015/16 182G will be welcome. Welcome to the podding world again TIP: You might want to look at the NEW 183G model before you buy a 182G. We have a 2011 181G and love it. We saw the 183G at a recent Pod rally in WV and it is very nice. The advantage is the bathroom is BIGGER, and it is NOT a wet bath. It still has the garage, of course, and it has lots of storage too. The disadvantage is you have to drop the table every night to make your bed. But lots of people do that. Good Luck on your search. Maybe we will meet at a rally sometime. Welcome! We tow our 2015 178 with a Ford F-250 but have just purchased a Lexus GX460 and may see how we like towing with it. Upside would certainly be a better ride but we do like being able to throw anything in the bed of the truck! Coastal cal just picked up our lexus GX fully loaded. 2015 model. We have towed much heavier with a GX in the last no problem and towed an earlier 182G did not even know it was their..make sure the people setting it up Kyle what they are doing and IF you GX has the Leveling make sure they and you have it in neutral that is the LX ability to raise and lower the rear end to balance a load.
