Getting ready to launch my 2010 RP-171 on its maiden voyage this weekend. I made it down to the tax collector's office and got greased for the new license plate. Here's another clueless n00b question: how do I mount the license plate? There are no nuts/bolts on the bracket or screw holes in the back of the pod. Go to Home Depot, an auto parts store, or any hardware store and ask for some nuts, bolts, and lock washers for a license plate. TT ------------- 2010 176 FJ Cruiser |

I ran down to the local Ace Hardware and found some nuts, bolts, washers, and lock washers that worked. I had to carefully pry up the ends of the plastic mounting bracket to slip the nuts behind them, being caeful not to break it. ------------- 2010 R-Pod RP-171 2010 Honda Ridgeline TV |

Sounds good. You can run the bolts in from the back and put the washers and nuts on the face side of the plate, but you have it taken care of. TT ------------- 2010 176 FJ Cruiser |
