Noticed the Janome sewing machine has a AC power supply that drops the voltage to 6 volt.dc.  We have 2 6v batteries.  Would think that I could make an extension cord and S could work on her quilt while I am off fishing  in the Copper Basin country.  Any thoughts?

You don't want to tap a battery bank at a partial voltage.  That will damage them long-term.

rainbows, in a high valley between SunValley and Arco ID.  The road from SV east over TrailCreek summit is a one or 1 1/2 lane dirt road , no guard rail and several hundred feet drop.  Old ore wagon road.
