That looks great.  I have been wanting to add a larger sink but was not sure if it would fit with the draw underneath.  Can you post pics of the underside?  How much of the plumbing needed to be modified?

That looks really nice. My wife and I just took our 179 in our first major trip a couple of weeks ago and think a new sink would be nice.

From what you saw when you installed yours, do you think a dual basin sink can be installed if the hole is enlarged?

The plumping was just fine.  Top drawer shortened 1". If you decided to install a new sink remove the three drawers and the two cross members. Its very easy to remove and it will save you time.

The sink I installed was the maximum size for that area. That sink is twice the size of the one I removed.

I should say it feels twice the size.

Can you confirm which sink you used?  Home Depot has a couple of 20x17x7 sinks that have different specs.  I want to make sure I get the right one that will fit since it seems like it will be a pretty tight fit.

Sure   bar sink 640 511 metallic black 20x17x7  169.00  Reading the reviews on this sink, I checked my sink out for cracks or any damage before installing.  I did reroute one plug wire under the counter.
Good Luck

Thanks!  How did you connect the strainer?  The stock sink has the tiny strainer and this new sink has a normal size strainer.  Did you have to modify that section?

No   The plumbing under the sink is the same for the larger strainer. Its a 11/2" pipe. You will need to buy the strainer about $8., it doesn't come with the sink.
