Just returned from our trial run with our new R178. Great trip, great unit. Also great wildlife viewing at Huntington Beach State Park, SC.

Appocalexx, no major trails. A causeway with a path, and a 1/4 mile boardwalk into the marsh. We saw mostly a variety of waterbirds.

Leo, Thanks! The F150 pulls the Pod great, but gets only 12 mpg.

They do go well together. 12 mpg is about right for any rig.

Definitely 12 is around the average. Depends on wind and speed.

Thanks, I was wondering whether a V6 Tacoma would be enough HP and torque? I do plan mountain trips.

if you keep your speed at around 55mph(90km/h) it makes a big difference on towing mileage as this seems to be the sweet spot where you start plowing air instead of it going around you.
