We love the LED lights, but found the intense blue / white a little harsh. I got a hold of some very light colored pale yellow theater gel, and lined my lights with it. Incredible difference. Light is so much more natural. You can get this stuff at theater supply houses online, and it's meant to be used in lights that generate tremendous heat, so using it in the RV LED lights is no problem.

Good tip. The old fixtures that were not LED from the factory, gave us lots of options because we could up grade or downgrade LED count and color. Now that LED is standard, your kind of stuck with what FR provides.

Moved to the podmod section.

It is great that FR now installs LEDs by default, but I guess they need to give you a color choice.

How did you put the theatre gel into the light lens? I tried but the sheet krinkles and Im not sure how to bond it in.

I just sort of formed it and cut some slits. It's time consuming. Even with the overlaps it works pretty well

Takes a while to cut and slit. Time consuming as well. I have overlaps in mine, but it works.
