I'm new to whole pod thing so forgive ignorance....when I turn furnance on the AC fan blows...is that how it's suppose to be?
And what does " heat strip" mean on thermostat?

The AC fan thing is a common issue with Pods. On the thermostat set the fan to auto, not high or low. That should fix it. The heat strip is an option not normally, if ever, installed. I doubt you have it.

Awesome...setting it to auto worked....my papllion is happy as he doesn't like the noise on the AC fan...

Is there a way to tell if heat strip was installed?   The light on thermostat lights up?

Can't say for sure since I don't have one, but it can't hurt to try. Set the thermo all the way up, set it to heat strip, and see if heat comes out of the AC vent.

Interesting, yes.  Mine had it but there was no way to control it from the thermostat.  It also caused a lot of noise when the A/C ran so I removed it.
