Well here we go....
Purchased a Sanitube sewer hose carrier to attach under our RPod 178 (2015).  Any suggestions on placement underneath?  And suggestions on what to use to attach, bolts or screws, what size etc.  I am a newbie on this stuff.  We are heading out in about 3 days! for inaugural trip!
thanks a lot

My 179 came with a hose carrier attached to the tongue, underneath the battery tray.   It's nice that they added this, but it's too short to be of any use, my 15' hose compacts down to 56", and the tube is only about 24"  so I'm going to buy a 64" tube from Camping World and probably attach it in the same location.

I had the the same issue when I added a longer sewer hose. i mounted the longer tube on the port side behind the wheel running the lengh of the frame on my 178. works great...

A convenient place is crosswise underneath the camper near the front. Just far enough back that it doesn't interfere with the forward stabilizers. Use #12 or #14 stainless steel hex head sheet metal screws about 1-1/2 inches long with SS flat washers. Measure carefully and predrill holes in the left and right side main frame members using the proper drill for the size screw you choose. Do not over-torque the screws while inserting because SS is brittle and can snap.  If a screw snaps you'll have to move slightly and redrill. You can leave the original short tube in place for shorter things.

^^^Yep, that sounds about where I mounted mine, Charlie. Works good there.

We mounted ours near the back, behind the fresh water tank, from left to right. The port side of the frame had electric cable zip-tied to the frame such that mounting it forward did not work. After drilling the holes to mount the tube, I set the tube on the ground and tapped the sheet metal screws into the frame with a ratchet wrench, then backed them out. I found it easier attach the tube without the struggle of tapping in the screws at the same time.

We went crosswise, Valtera 74", just in front of the step. Mounted to the frame bottom on curb side, built this little hanger on the street side..
