I found a PDF of the "Instruction Manual" for the High Point Microwave/Convection oven, it seems I'm not the only person who didn't get one.  This manual is for the Model #EC028BMR, but it appears to be the same as for the EC028KD7, which is the model that's in my Rpod.

Ok, now I can't see how to attach a file to this post, so if anyone needs this, shoot me your email and I'll send it off-list.

This is a message for C.F. Warren re the Hi Pointe Microwave/Convection Oven Manual. We don't have an R-Pod (I don't know what that is) - but we did just buy a 25-foot motor home. The new RV has the microwave convection oven and I needed a manual. Thanks! My husband and I travel almost every year from Virginia to Washington State. My mother lived in Spokane County until she was 95 - in a home at Newman Lake that was purchased by my grandfather in 1920. I plan to go back and forth across the country for as many years as I am able. Safe travels to all!

Thanks. While I think we got the manual (can't check because RV and documents are at the dealer), having a backup copy is good.Approve

New owner here. Can you tell me the best way to get the sticker off a new microwave? It's a pesky one!

Goo Gone, carefully applied to keep it from running down into the frame around the window. Work from the top down, and apply along the edge as needed to dissolve the glue. Clean up thoroughly after it is off.

So we're new to the RV thing in general and bought a  rpod 179- just picked it up a week ago so a lot of new things to play with! What are people using for convection oven dishes? Do they also have to be microwave safe too or is it a completely different system?

we have received a whole lot of very helpful info thru this forum already- thanks for letting us pick your brains!

For convection baking, metal would be okay since it is using heat only with no microwave energy unlike roasting which uses part microwave, so microwave safe cookware would be needed. The Grill 1 (but not grill 2 or 3) also does not use microwaves, so metal would be okay.

The manual does state which cooking methods use microwave energy and which do not. Make your cooking utensil choices accordingly.

Thank you for the user manual link to the High Pointe Microwave oven.  We purchased our 2016 RP179 in mid May, and have yet to run that microwave, so the saved manual will likely come in handy.  Being new to this Forum, I will mention that we recently installed patented powder-coated security straps for our battery boxes from the inventer (Salt Lake resident).  Email the inventor at fox@b-drvbatterylock.com or visit the website.  A discount is offered when ordering two of the strap systems.  Here are two pictures of my setup on the RP179 [installation took 30 minutes on the first double strap, 10 minutes on the second.  I dropped the blackwater drain storage tube to make the assembling more easily assembled and then reattached that tube.RP179 on 2011 Nissan XTerra

Here's a link for the High Pointe EC028KD7 instruction manual. It's very surprising that the Rpod would not come with one considering all the other manuals, installation diagrams and other paperwork that's included.
