We love our 152 although we do think of upgrading to a 172 or 171 every so often when we're at day 14 of a 15 day trip in variable weather. Tongue Embarrassed

What we love about our small unit is that we're allowed on the sites usually reserved for tenters and small pop-ups - the ones right on the water with the view. Cool  Plus the large tanks enable us to go to more secluded campgrounds with poorer facilities but more privacy.

There seems to be tremendous interest from other small RV/camper owners from tenters and truck campers to A-liners. t@bs and pop-ups in the smaller r.pods. Most of them seem to want to stay as small as possible but are tired of setting up and taking down their units.

We have a 178 which is technically 20 feet long but only 17 1/2 feet long in the body.

Ontario Parks takes the view that we are an "under 18 foot" trailer which means that we can also fit in the smaller campsites and enjoy some of the finer views and more private sites.

This was critical to us when we picked our R-Pod as our travel trailer of choice.

Love our 151, but some time think about a 152 or 171 so we would not have to make up the bed every night. Being able to drive like not towing anything is great

In the beginning we looked at the 151 that was on the lot and a 171 that was there but was sold, we opted to order the 171 because we could go to bed and not have to brake down the table. For us it has been a good choice, besides the table at night holds all kinds of things that we don't have to put away. Goose

The bed versus dinette issue was also big for us.  We loved our 173, but hated having to tear the table down and make the bed each night.  so we finally removed the jack knife sofa and made a double bed in the back where the sofa used to be.  Now it's much better.
