I just bought my first (and I'm a newbie here too) and I had never even seen a 'Pod' before. And as I was coming home I saw another one like mine right in my own little town!

When we purchased our 2013 177 in 2012, we never saw Pods. Now that we don't own one anymore (our son has ours), we see them all the time. We were just on a three-week camping trip, and there were at least two Rpods at every campground where we were and lots on the road. They have become very popular.

Out here at the other end of the country, they seem to be everywhere, also.  I think the design, cost, more seniors camping as well as other age groups have sent the sales of Rpods thru the roof.  A number here have commented that they have downsized from larger RV's also.  Think Forest River hit a sweet spot and the public is eating them up.  Saw three last week when we were returning from our last trip.  Flashed headlights at an oncoming Pod and he reciprocated.  Couple of years ago they were still an oddity.  Now much more common.  We are having 37 Pods in August from all over the country.  Way to go Forest River!
