Having just returned from a trip down I95, I thought I would share a couple of stops.

Going south from New Jersey (northeast of Philly) we spent one night (a Wednesday) at http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/santee/introduction.aspx - Santee State Park . Nice park and close to I95. No reservations and there were plenty of available sites (electric and water).

Coming back north we spent a night at http://www.ncparks.gov/Visit/parks/memo/main.php - Medoc Mountain State Park . Another very nice stop, not crowded and plenty of available sites. Again, no reservations on a Thursday.

While in Florida, we have a number of driveway camping sites. We lived there for 25 years and have lots of friends happy to have a pod in their driveway. Smile

Yes, those are wild ponies dining on grass while dumping tanks!

A reminder that many members that have the "pHp - podders helping podders" label under their name are willing to have a pod in their driveway for a night, or to lend a hand if you need help while on the road.

Our driveway is always open, although we aren't right on the I-95 corridor.  Just off of I-83 near the MD/PA border, a bit more inland from I-95.  Electric and water available from the driveway, and you can dump the tanks if you back onto the side yard.

Directv with Showtime, sorry no HBO.

Bar - you gotta ask?  Grab one from the garage fridge and pull a chair up to the fire ring in the back yard!
