Has anyone figured out a quick way to prevent the parasitic drain on the battery when the keeping the Rpod in storage? I realize the microwave clock and the gas detectors are slowly drawing off the battery and perhaps pulling a fuse or disconnecting a wire would stop this. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Either put a kill switch by the battery (have not yet installed mine), or get a solar panel hooked up to trickle charge your battery. Or, as you say, you could probably also pull a fuse but I have not researched that.

It's not the microwave clock.. It's 120v.
BUT there are several 12v parasitic loads. If you can't / don't store where you can stay plugged in, a battery cut off is the answer. Ours is a "Hella" brand.

And then make sure the battery is recharged overnight every 30 days. Reconnect the battery and plug in the pod overnight (then disconnect both again).

The LP gas detector is a current hog. you can pull the 12 volt fuse for it, or take the battery out and keep it at home on a trickle charger if where you stow the pod has no 110 volt source.
