On that subject, I have searched and cannot find an owners manual for this appliance anywhere. Any suggestions as to where one could find?

k, wasn't sure. It sure seems like he was based on how he represents himself. He must then be retired as it seems like he has answer for everybody's questions that come up throughout the day and evening. Must be nice to have that much free time in your day to volunteer and not get paid for it. My husband and I sure don't have that kind of free time with raising kids, etc.

Not a bad thing to volunteer.  Cool

I've made this a sticky topic.

LOL.. retired.. he wishes.. No, he and a few of us others, just have a passion for the pod, and helping podders. He/we have actual contacts and friends at the factory, and have been there several times now.

I am retired. His job is one that allows.. ney, requires, constant onlineness.. so he dedicates a monitor to pod stuff.. maybe two. I keep the facebook group open on my phone 24/7..  Check in here 1-2 times a day..

Lol yes I do indeed wish for a job for with Forest River, they just keep somehow neglecting to take my resume seriously when I send it to them!  hehehhehe

But yes as the FurPod said.  My job requires near constant connection to the internet,  at work, at home, on vacation.  I break up my time by Pod stuff and bugging my contacts at Forest River.  LOL

My free time is when you happen to not see me online or when I'm lucky enough that a campground has absolutely ZERO wifi or cell phone reception.....Ahhhhhh.    Serenity.....

If Aflac has a duck to represent there company and Gieco has a gecko to represent their company why not have a moose to represent Forest River. Big smile

LOL that'd make a great letter to Forest River.  I'll have to use that line on my next bombardment of letters to them.  LOLLOLLOL

I have a PDF of the manual for the High Pointe Microwave/convection Oven, model EC028BMR, which looks to be the same as model # EC028KD7.

I had that problem with my oven a few times, I shot some silicon spray into the door latch, and low and behold it quit. That was about 8 months ago, and it never did it again. I guess I got lucky. It now works great.

We just bought an R-Pod model 192.  We have had trouble with our High Point Convection Oven turning off after 3 minutes of use and not wanting to come back on for awhile. The inside was hot. I called High Point, they said to just use a lower power.

Am I having a problem with this oven or is this just something we are going to have to put up with?

Contact your dealer if it's under warranty.. Get it replaced.

You have to tell us a bit more...is the trailer brand new?

Does the oven shut off in any and every mode?

Does it seem to be cooking for those three minutes?

Finally, does the entire oven shut off, go dark, or show an error code? Or is is still lit up but just wont cook? Does the keypad respond?

If it's brand new and under warranty, maybe your dealer will swap it out, but in reality, your warranty for the appliances is with the manufacturer of those appliances.

BTW mine worked fine so I installed it in my house...then sold the house...and I miss that oven!

My Highpointeconv oven stays on- I tried everything- finally turned off breaker and turn it back on when I need to cook something- when I get back from Maine I'll call my dealer- thought it might be past warranty

Please let us know what the dealer says. Also check the High-Pointe manual for warranty information. That is who is ultimately the one to say yes or no to replacement.
