I am replacing the chintzy swing arm for my television and plan on drilling through the wardrobe wall near the middle of the wall.  Does anybody know if there's any chance of hitting a wire?  I don't think any wires are routed through there but thought I would ask.

Not sure if there wires. I did not like the swing arm for the TV because you could not see the TV while in bed so I took if off, put it on a bench vise and twisted the arm about 3 inches. Works fine now.

That wall is pretty close to hollow.  I have doubts that it would hold the set for long after a few miles on a bumpy road.  Cry

I didn't think of bending the arm, so I went with a different swing arm - one with a tilting head, from Amazon.  I attached it very close to where the original was - where there was adequate framing.  Fewer holes to patch and to touch up that way too.
