Do you ever need to caulk the outside of r-pod to make sure rain water or mildew can not get through ?

If you do, can you please specify the exterior area where you have to caulk at

Yes, and pretty much anywhere all over the trailer where you get a break or void in the existing caulking.  There is caulk and sealer all over the outside where pieces join.

Yes, I had my dealer do an all-over recaulk when my r-pod was 4 years old - windows, doors, and various vents/breaks in the skin.  The roof was fine tho.

I also had some issues with the rear window caulk peeling-up (but not quite to the point of leaking) when the r-pod was 2 years old - I had them remove/reseal the window and its been fine since.

Fortunately, I have a dealer that I trust located 25 minutes from home.  Also, (strangely), they don't charge much for caulking - barely more than buying the supplies and doing it myself.  They also do a much cleaner job than I can do.
