This will be our fourth visit to Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine Beach, FL.  The forecast is good, maybe a little rain upon arrival on Monday, but I've put up the R-Dome in a drizzle before.

The great thing about Anastasia is that when you're on your site, it seems to be miles away from civilization, but upon exiting the Park, you're on A1A with everything that St. Augustine Beach has to offer.

The Campin' Cocker Spaniels love their trip to the beach, (outside the Park-  no animals allowed on the Park beach.), and I look forward to another visit to St. Augustine Lighthouse.

We totally recommend Anastasia State Park to all visitors-  even "Yankees!"  (Just kidding...)

Wow, thanks for the heads up on  https://www.floridastateparks.org/park/anastasia/ - Florida State Parks   Cedar Key don't look so bad either. So you are trading the East Coast for the West Coast for a few days...awesome...would love to see some pics of the park. Particularly the camping spots. Have Fun!

We love Anastasia SP, a few years ago we spent 2 weeks there with our pod. What a great beach!

We're enjoying Site 77, (a good R-Pod site, BTW, with plenty of clearance for the 'Dome).  Yesterday we saw another R-Pod over in the next loop.  It had the Olympic swirl graphice and a TV with Texas plates.  Gone today (Tuesday).  AAnybody from the Forum?

And yet another R-Pod as we left this morning.  We're really not anti-social!  There were no owners around to chat with in either case.

Anyhow, a good relaxing time-  kind of chilly for this time of year in Florida- but any time away in the 'Pod is better than time in the office!

Thanks for the info on Anastasia, we have been wanting to see St Augustine for some time. We got our 179 last fall and with life issues and weather we are just now making our maiden voyage to Lake Seminole Corp of Engineers park on the Florida/Georgia line. Would like to do St Augustine soon.
