Congrats - I just brought home my new 178. So far the only issue I have had was the nut on one of my propane tank straps decide to leave. Went to the hardware store and replaced with lock nuts. Looking forward to adventures ahead.

Bought a 2015 r-179 in Dec, Still at the Dealer had a topper put on over the slide out and had 2-30# tanks mounted that and the 2 6 volt batteries.  I'm ready to go as soon as the snow and ice leave the drive way.  In Mar I'll pick her up have a little week trail run to make sure everything works, then off to So Cal and AZ.  Will be towing with a 2006 Jeep Liberty 4X4 with tow package.  Live in west central Idaho.

Upon further inspection once I got home I found out I was missing my 12v battery.

Welcome to all of you.  FlyPod, that may be a blessing in disguise if they refuse to supply one to you.  Typically the dealers install the cheapest battery and often it isn't a deep cycle battery.  Get a true deep cycle battery.

we've had a dry & hot spell here in west central Idaho with highs in the low 50's, and the snow is gone. So I'll be heading down to Nelson's in Boise o get the hitch and brake controller put on the Liberty and bring her (179) on home. It will just be "two Peas in A Dutch Pod"'   Once we try It out in the driveway, we'll load her up and go back to Boise and camp for a few days at the Riverside RV park.

By the way , we had 6 people ask to look at it , in the first 6 hours of buying it. 2 people pulled over to ask us as we were letting the dog pit stop! Didn't expect that kind of thing.

Get used to it. SWMBO has given tours in the gas station while I was pumping gas.

Yup, pod owners should get a cut of every sale they make due to their numerous tours.  Set it up like Mary Kay or Tupperware (ponzi scheme).
