The r-pods have received a lot of attention and have been a number one seller. But the Vibes didn't have as good of success. They have been discontinued, do not know the reason but I guess they did not sell well. Perhaps there shape has not been that popular, I have read more than once comments that they look like a horse trailer. We are very happy with ours and most important my wife is happy. The Jayco skylark only lasted a couple of years and the Forest River Aviator is another camper that was short lived in production.

When I looked at r-pods, the local dealer also had some Vibes for sale. I liked the Vibe, but it was more expensive and heavier than the r-pod 179 I was considering. Plus it didn't seem as off-road capable as the r-pod, and I do a lot of off-road camping. For those reasons I chose the r-pod, and maybe others did as well. ------------- |

By what I have read the 6500 series has been discontinued, the smaller 20' Vibes. They are not shown on the Vibe Extreme Lite list of floor plans.
