My wife and I just purchased a new 179. We are looking forward to traveling more and working less. Our TV is a Dodge Durango and we live in Utah. We appreciate all the good advice and knowledge found on this forum. It has been very helpful to read of your experiences and solutions to the various issues that come from owning an RV.
There are so many places to go and so many routes to take, we hardly know where to begin. Our first trip will be to someplace very warm (like Death Valley) We hope to be there between Christmas and New years day, if the weather and road conditions permit.
Both my wife and I love to travel. I have put almost 250,000 miles on various touring motorcycles over the past 10 years. We have decided to try the RV way of traveling. There is a very big and a very beautiful country out there, just waiting for us.
Maybe we will get a chance to meet some of you. We will be looking for R Pods!

Welcome to Podlife :)
We went on an extended trip this past August/September. We spent a week or so in the Moab area and fell in love with that part of Utah. I'm sure we will visit again someday.

Welcome to Podding, you will adore and a fall in love with this little camper more and more each time you use it. Be ready to have curious onlookers when you set up camp and we certainly hope that we'll bump into you folks on the road some day!
