Folks,
The temp is flirting with freezing here in western Oregon and as I sit here warm and cozy I am thinking about my black tank rinse line (pathetic, yes?).  About a month ago I winterized my pod as I have the last few years - without blowning out the black tank rinse line.  Since that time I read a post regarding this subject.  What was the consensus?  I've not had any freeze related issues in the past but was I just lucky? Do you blow out the line when you winterize?

Best,
Rob

It seems that there are several ways this line is routed on different models. On my 177, this line will trap water between the fill port and the check valve.

I blow it out.   Can't hurt to blow it out, takes 5 seconds....

Makes sense. Should this be added to the manual?

Now I just have to remember to print a new copy for next year. All this remembering is tough.

Print 2 copies now and stick it in your pod's file, and in the water pump compartment where you'll find it next year.
