Yeah, really good prices on the 6000BTU ($218.54) and the 8000BTU ($253.01). I'm OK with my Mr. Heater buddy, but wish now I would have held out for the small wave.

fred:  when you used mr heater in the pod (i bought one too), did you place it on the table, floor, on something, just curious?  i did a test run on a bottle in house, worked great.  floor a little warm, not bad, but just wondering for extra precautions.  hogone

Hi hogone,

Sorry I missed this the other day. I keep the heater on the floor. It's just a little bulky, but warms the pod quickly. Doesn't seem to get too hot on the floor. The only precaution would be kicking it over, although it does have an auto shutoff if it tips more than 45 degrees. Also, when storing, it's probably a good idea to keep it covered to prevent dust accumulating on heating pad.
