| Just purchased a 2015 179 Sept 11 and ordered the R-dome. Just received word from our dealer that Forest River just started production and they are about 6 wks out. Claimed that the old ones didn't fit b/c of the larger size of the top rail. Since the 179 has been out in 2014 you would think they would already been on top of this issue. Go figure. Anyway, we love our 179, had a 2010 173 and this fits our needs so much better. Still pull it with my 2012 RAV4. |

| We bought our 178 last month and it came with a new in the box Rdome. I am willing to sell it at a fair price as it not been opened and we don't plan on using it. |

We decided against getting the R Dome for our 179. Because of the configuration with the door at the rear of the coach the Rdome tie down interfers with the entrance. Realy the Dome is for center door models. If Forest River comes up with a suitable awning We will buy it. For the time being we are useing a nice EzUp canopy. 1/5 the price and can be moved wherever we want. ------------- Joe and Diane, pups Jenny and Tyke. RPod named Lilly. Alive and well deep in the toolies of Norther Calif |

Bearclaw, That's what I was told when I bought my 179. Sold my 2010 173 with the r-dome b/c of that. Told by my dealer that FR is remaking the dome for the 179 and it should be ready in a month. I'll bet that some of the members will find a way to make the old ones fit but since I sold mine I didn't even check into it. Good travels. Ray
