I just ordered two Attwood grab handles for entering and exiting our camper. The Vibe have one step like the r-pods and with the 15" wheels it is a large step to make. They will be mounted just inside of the door on both sides. They have a thicker handle than most grab handles which I think will be helpful for a comfortable grip. I found them on amazon.com they come in three colors white, black and grey we ordered the black, the price for each $6.50 free shipping. I thought someone with a r-pod might be interested.

David, we found ourselves grabbing the doorframe when we came out of the trailer, so I put this grab bar on one side.

My wife and I are halfway different entering and exiting the camper. Entering we both face forward exciting is where I am different I find it easier facing backwards. I have a bad right knee that I find easier stepping backwards. So one handle will be on the left for my wife and one handle on the right for me when exiting.

David, get those knees replaced!  You'll wish you'd done it 10 years sooner.  (At least, that's my experience.). Big smile

What I want to do is put a grab handle in the bathroom.  I seem to recall the tech at Couch's saying there are studs in the walls so should be possible to find a good anchoring position.  (I haven't figured out how to jury-rig a hoist from the ceiling .. That would be my first choice!)

I second the knee replacement, life is way better on the other side. Goose
