I just upgraded my TV from an SUV to a pickup.  I have one of the Husky WD hitches and I measured the ball at 19 inches above the pavement on the SUV.  I inverted the  shank and used the lowest holes and I have about 21 inches on the truck.  Is this close enough or do I need a different shank to get the ball lower.  Pod is a 179 HRE.  Thanks.

I have a WDH/Anti-sway hitch calibrated to my wife's SUV (our main TV), but I tow regularly with my truck, which is about 2 inches different, without any issue and it works fine.

However, if I were to switch to my truck as the main TV, then I would readjust the hitch settings. So my recommendation, if the upgrade you talk about is permanent, then you should take the time/effort to re-level the towing and set the WDH for the new vehicle. It'll give peace of mind, if nothing else.

The trailer really should be level, or more realistically as close to level as possible with the nose pointing up.
