I have lost power to the 12 volt light over the bed in the 178. I bought a new fixture because I broke a clip in the old one while trying to get it to work. The new fixture didn't work so i checked the wires and no power. Could it be a fuse? If so which one? All the other lights work great.

On the power center where all the fuses are, a light will be lit if you have any blown fuses next to the fuse that is blown. Otherwise you may have to run a new wire or trace the old one and probe it for power at various spots. Can I run a new wire from the closest light to this one? In other words I would splice a new wire to the close 12 volt light and wire this one to that. Otherwise I can't figure how I would trace the wire through the ceiling.

Yes, you could do that.
