I wasn't really paying attention when I was looking at the pods at a dealer but if I remember right the garage seemed awfully high when risers are installed.  Is this an issue for those of you with a garage and the risers?  It just seemed like it was higher than optimal for using as a counter for cooking prep, etc.

Is this an issue or am I just remembering it incorrectly?

Not sure which pod you are talking about--- Our 173 with risers is 9'6" tall at the top of the ac unit.

I don't think green18 is talking about trailer height, he is talking about the counter height in the garage of the 182g.

Depending on how level your campsite is and which end is jacked up front or back, yes the garage can be problematic to use.

We carry a stool with us and need it often times to reach the outlets or some of the baskets and other things.

Thanks gang, I did indeed mean how high the actual counter was with risers.  I went and checked it out at the dealer and found it to be fine.  Actually I quite liked it as it felt like standing and leaning on a bar at the local pub.

I do have another question if anyone sees this.  I searched and searched but I am trying to figure out which attachments will fit the versa trac.  Is it the same as Craftsman versa trac?  Most of the search results led to links that no longer exist.  I believe my research tells me that Gladiator does not fit but beyond that I can't find anything.

Speaking of the versa trac, anybody know how it mounts to the back wall? What it mounts to?  Reason is, it only attaches at the outer corners and when I put something heavy, like the electrical cord, near the center, it pulls away. Would love to add more support, but not sure what it attaches to.

I love the baskets I have, would love an additional one as well.

Mostly it just attaches to the wallboard.  I think sometimes you get lucky and it hits one of the vertical wall studs back there.  I've seen other owners go ahead and add extra screws to all the holes available to more firmly secure it.  Most haven't ever had an issue though.

I had an issue with the wallboard, it broke!  Beware of traveling with heavy items in the baskets.
I modified one to hold a toaster oven and added a paper towel holder to another.  If you feel you need more or different baskets, distributors for the original's system are hard to find and the selection is limited.  I suppose some other brand's baskets may fit, but I couldn't find any.
