Hi- I am thinking of purchasing an rpod 176-we will be traveling around the country for 2 1/2 months. We are a family of four plus two dogs one large one small. I was looking at the 176t but they are not sold in the NW and expensive to get delivered. I am working with a dealer and he has offered a 176 2014 at 16000. He says he won't go any lower. but he is driving it to my house to look at-which is nice. I am wondering if this is a good deal-if people have this model with families how does it work for you? Any suggestions on negotiating would be great I have only been a tent camper. Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Liz, I have a 2011 176. Not sure what I was thinking. The bunks are too close together with the top being so close to the ceiling you can't hardly turnover and the bottom is too close to the top. I removed the top bunk and am enjoying it more. You would think that the salesman would have let me know it was more for toddlers that adults. NOT! Shop around and don't be in a hurry!
Good luck,
Sally

I have always stated that the only pod with adult bunks is the 172.
