Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. My wife and I are taking possession of a 2009 R-pod 171 on Saturday morning (and driving 3100 Kms to go get it). It looks to be in excellent condition and we are very excited to finally have a TT with a bathroom in it. We are trading in a 2005 T@b with the U floor plan. Looks like lots of great information on here so I am sure I will be busy reading for the next little while.

Halfway home! This thing is awesome. The previous owners didn't use it much so it is in excellent condition.

Exciting times!  Nice outfit, too.  A week from tomorrow, we'll start a 2300 mi round trip to pick up our 171.  What gear are you carrying with you and what are you doing for overnight stops?  We're hoping to use WalMarts, truck stops, rest areas; this isn't a vacation trip but more of a "get it done" kind of thing.

Be safe ..
John

Interesting, I'm pretty much doing the same thing. A 2,200 mile road trip to pickup a new 178. Congratulations...looks great!

Out of curiosity, Podster, where are you going to pick up your 178?
