Howdy everyone,

My 177 plywood under the bed is beginning to bow. Also, it squeaks like crazy when you move around on it. I'm thinking about replacing the plywood with something stronger (hopefully about the same weight) and adding something to stop the squeak.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

You could glue some 1"x 3" oak across the bottom with some 3/4" flat head wood screws going through the top of the plywood into the oak. That is what we did with our 171. Didn't need to replace the plywood but I think I may have trimmed the edges from hitting the side walls.
