Picked up our new RPOD 179 in North Carolina on Thursday, 8/7/14.   Drove it home to Texas on 8/15.  We are pulling ours with a Buick Enclave with tow package and Equal-i-zer sway control hitch.  I will post pictures on the Tow thread soon.  Next choice down the road will be some kind of awning and generators.  We are so tickled to join this community and really love the new addition to the family.  I think the 12 year old Brittany even thinks of it as home.

Cool deal!
I know the dealer we got ours from in Lexington NC can't even keep them on the lot for more than a week.

They are selling like hotcakes around here.

Like Gingerpod, I also bought mine in Lexington, NC.  When I went to look, he had two on the lot and had some folks coming to look at them that very day.  I put a deposit down on the spot, knowing that if they got away, it would be a while before he had any others!

Just out of curiosity, did you drive all that distance to purchase in NC because this is where you found the one you wanted, price... Or both... Or neither?

Actually No.   We had been looking at Casitas and Jayco Hybrids in Texas.   We had never heard of or seen the RPod.  We were in North Carolina to visit family.   While visiting with a neighbor in the Denton/High Rock lake area, we were told about the Lexington dealer and the RPod.  Went over the next day to check them out and were totally surprised by the "welcome" provided by the dealer, the price, and what the RPod had to offer.  We bought it within two weeks after starting to research it.

I also found them to be very helpful.  One of my brothers lives on high rock lake, so I am familiar with the area.  Congrats on your rpod.  Wishing you many happy miles of camping adventures!
