I was inspecting the slide out of my Rpod 178 yesterday and I noticed that the rack and pinion gears on the slide out were bone dry. I was wondering if any of you use any type of lubrication on the slide out gears? If so, what kind?

The technicians at the plant that build recommend simple silicone spray on them a few times a season whenever you are doing your usual seal maintenance.

i use some "slide lube" I bought at walmart; it's probably just silicone marketed for slides to get you(me) to buy it!!!!
