There are a number of issues surrounding converting to LEDs. I just started a post to clarify some of the issues, and CharlieM was kind enough to post a ton of information. Check this post out - hope this helps:

I changed all of our lights to LED, without any problems. All of the interior lamps use a "wedge base" and the porch light uses a 1156 "bayonet base". All interior lights I switched to a pancake style with 10 LED's, I don't have the number in front of me and the porch light to an 18 LED tower. You can find them all Superbrightleds.com.
The side marker lights and the fender lights I picked up at a truck stop so if there is a problem I can easily replace them. Goose

How do you remove the cover from the porch light?  I can't seem to find a screw or connector anywhere.

Push up on the bottom of the lens (cover) it may take a screwdriver to help. The bottom of the lens has one clip the top has two. Just snaps in the base

I got these from RVLEDbulbs.com and they work pretty well. They're quite bright - brighter than the 921's and somewhat whiter. although not objectionable. They're a dollar less if you buy ten. They fit the fixture well and line up with the magnifying part of the lens. Not a bad replacement for original equipment.

Many of us purchased off of EBay. Inexpensive and quite adequate

Thanks Craneman.  I was afraid I was going to crack the lens cover.

Sorry Craneman, I have been out of town for a few days longer than expected. The LED bulbs that I bought have been discontinued, that sucks as I was going to pick up a couple more. The bulbs were 194-10 SMD Wedge Base. I did order 4 194-6 SMD Wedge Base bulbs, I decided to replace the ones over the table and the bed with these that are a little brighter. Goose

Just curious why Forest River used an amber light for the porch light versus a white light for the hitch light?  Anyone know?

All campers use an amber light for the porch light, theoretically they don't attract bugs as well as the white... maybe.  Personally I think it is less harsh on the eyes.  White up front for the utility light makes sense since it gives you more total light.
