Has anyone put an external shower on the RPOD 179? It seems pretty straight forward on most of the RPODs but with the 179, I am not sure where to put it. I would like to put it adjacent to the bathroom on the door side, then it would be inside the R-dome. Another option could be on the back by the kitchen and spare tire. Any ideas?

Personally I wouldn't put it on the passenger side. You'll end up with a muddy mess right where you are walking/sitting. Plenty of room at the back driver's corner, rear or side.. I agree I would not put it in the dome/living area of the trailer.
