We bought a 2011 175 used. The carbon monoxide detector is missing. The base plate is still on the wall. Where can we find a detector that will fit that base plate? We don't want to put any new holes in the wall. I would like to know how everyone attaches the dome to the rpod. I know there are some posts, but I can't find them. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks so much.

go to pod dealer about the missing co2 detector. There is a video of how to put up a dome. If your missing pieces again get in touch with a pod dealer or FR.

We didn't buy the pod from a dealer. We didn't realize it was missing until after we made the purchase last October. We do know how to put up the dome. We just need to find out how the sides are attached to the pod. Wondering if anyone uses heavy strength velcro.Any ideas are apprediated.

You'll get one cheaper at a Home Depot or Wal-Mart. Don't worry about new holes, they are all about the same size so you won't see the holes.

I agree with techntrek - just buy a new (reasonably priced) one at Home Depot or Walmart. Get one that mounts with a backplate, like the old one did - that way, if the holes don't line up, you can just drill new holes in the plastic backplate and mount it to your existing holes in the wall.

The side walls on the dome fasten with suction cups that have hooks attached to them. I think some people source replacements from Home Depot. But someone more knowledgable can answer that.
