Ok so we just made our 4th trip out in our 2013 178 this weekend and noticed an almost neon yellow spot in the floor under the sink and in front of left side of slide.  We took off panel under the sink and noticed a pump (not sure what it's for) but it looks as if it's some kind of oil or something leaking from the pump. (Didn't actually see it leaking). Anyone have any idea what this pump is for and what is leaking from it?? It almost looks like it has all leaked out and and sat long enough to go through floor to wood...any help is appreciated.  We aren't sure what to do at this point...regarding the pump...and more than likely we will have to place flooring and wood underneath.

Thanks in advance!!

Sounds like your water pump.

The only pump I can think of in the Pod is the Water Pump.

I agree that the pump must be the water pump, but I don't know what some kind of neon yellow oily stuff would be.

Does the water pump still work and sound normal?

I'd tend to bet on a leak in the sink drain plumbing.

Is there any chance that the sytem was winterized with eythlene glycol based antifreeze. The description sounds like eythlene glycol. If there is a change someone did this you need to flush the system really well before you use it because ethlene glycol is toxic. Winterization should be done with RV or Plumbing antifreeze as it is none toxic.

The pump,in the 178, is under the bed not the sink. This makes no sense except for the idea of leaking antifreeze.

Could it be the motor assembly for the slide?

Thumbs Up

unless it's the levitation control device for changing tires, it almost has to be right?  nothing else "should" be under there.

Ok, we haven't been back out since...hoping to go check out this weekend.  We bought this used February in Florida so we didn't have it winterized, however the previous owners may have and we were never told.  I will run the pump to see if it's still working.  I do remember the faucet sputtering every time we turn it on...not sure if that has anything to do with it.  I hope to get to the bottom of it soon...as it looks like we will probably have to replace the subfloor and linoleum..Unhappy Totally bummed!!

On my 2014 178 the water pump is located under the sink. Remove the 4 screws on the bottom left panel on the cabinet and the pump is right there.
