Has anyone tried to remove the entertainment center (TV,DVD) situated on top of queen bed in the R178.

Are you talking the one in the console directly above the bed? If you do a search you cab find a couple people who have taken out or moved the TV, and some who removed the whole console also.

Left the box, removed the tv. Actually a nice place to keep games, etc.
