Just a newbie question on the Rpod water heater. Does the water heater work when connected to city water or does it only work when using the fresh water tank or both? Thanks.

Yup. Run the hot water tap until water flows through. Once flowing, the hot water tank is full and you can turn the heater on. DO NOT TURN IT ON BEFORE FULL!! You'll kill the element. ------------- 2014 rpod 182G Ford Expedition |

You'll also lose 6 gallons from your fresh water tank if you don't fill the water heater at home first.
